    Feedom Freedom Growers envisions our collective liberation. We are working toward a world in which Detroiters thrive and can reclaim our humanity by living safer, healthier, more sustainable, more connected, liberated lives made possible by the food, ecologies, culture, and relationships we cultivate together.

  • Birwood House

    Birwood House is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the quality of life for residents by encouraging leadership and promoting multi-generational interactions for the purpose of building healthy, strong, sustainable neighborhoods and communities.

  • Riverwise Magazine

    Riverwise is a community-based magazine created by a team of authors, writers, photojournalists, parents, grandparents, students, organizers, activists, artists, educators, and visionaries. We are working to create media that reflects local activism and the profound new work being done in and around Detroit neighborhoods.

  • Freedom Dreams

    Freedom Dreams is a coalition of community members and organizations, collaborating to promote community agency, health and wealth, while working to prevent the harmful effects of gentrification. Collectively, we were born and raised, are long-term residents, or work in the neighborhood.

  • Field Street Block Club Association

    FSBCA is an active Block Club located in the Lower Eastside of Detroit in a neighborhood called Islandview. We are made up of both young and old residents who envision a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for all of our neighbors. We like to consider ourselves a Block Family that takes care of one another.
